Terry Price teaches Robotics and Administrative Services at Desert Pines High School. She has been with the school district for fourteen years and is excited to serve as the 2020-2021 NVBEA President.

Patti is joining the NVBEA Officer Board having been a career business teacher since 1987. Currently, Patti is teaching Accounting and Finance II and III, as well as the junior and senior years of the High School of Business curriculum at West CTA. Patti has also been active in FBLA and DECA as an advisor for many years.

MELISSA SCOTT
NVBEA SECRETARY

Melissa is an Assistant Director at the Nevada Department of Education. Melissa has been very active nationally serving on the boards of MBA Research and Curriculum Center and the National Association of State Supervisors for Business Education. She has also been involved with the national movement to broaden participation in computer science as a founding member of Nevada's Sub-committee on Computer Science. Currently, she is a member of ACTE's Business Division and New and Related Services-Work-based Learning Section.

CASSANDRA MERRITT
NVBEA PRESIDENT ELECT
Cassandra Merritt teaches the Business Management and Accounting programs at Bonanza High School and is an active DECA advisor. Prior to teaching she was in the military and is proud to be in the classroom with her students. Cassandra has been with the school district for five years now and is excited to serve as the 2020 - 2021 NVBEA President Elect and to be the next NVBEA President.

ALAN WATTS
SCHOLARSHIP
​
Alan has been a Business teacher at Dayton High School in Lyon County since 2006. He has been the DECA chapter advisor and the marketing program advisor at Dayton since 2007. Prior to teaching in Nevada, Alan was a Business teacher in California and Oregon. Alan has been in the tennis industry for sixteen years, ranging from staff pro to a D1 college coach in ten states plus Canada. He serves as a National Scouting Coordinator for college bound student athletes.

KRISTEN STUART
TREASURER
Kristen Stuart has been teaching in business since 2000. Kristen is currently teaching Accounting and Finance I, HSB Leadership/Wealth Management, and HSB Principles of Business/Business Economics at West CTA. She is also an active FBLA and DECA advisor. She has previously served as membership director and historian for NVBEA, secretary for NACTE, and was on the Teachers Advisory Network for MBA research.

TIFFANY WILLIAMS
MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR
Tiffany has been a business education teacher for 13 years and has worked in the banking industry for 18 years. She also spent 34 years in Elko County. Tiffany has an MBA along with an MA in Administration. Besides being the NVBEA membership director, she is also a NV FBLA board member and a finance committee director. She has been married to an underground miner for 25 years.
